Wednesday Weigh In

Well, I expected to have a little gain this week. Between the eating out and the busy schedule (not as much exercise), I'm also retaining water. Which I'm sure is the big culpret.

Starting weight: 214 lbs
Last week's weight: 150.2 lbs
This week's weight: 151.6 lbs

Actually, for a water retention week, that's not bad. I can gain as much as 3 lbs. So I ain't complaining.

However, I really don't want to get lazy. Either with my diet or with my exercise.

I'll spend this week trying to be a bit more careful (not an easy task, as again, it's a busy week) and hope to see a big drop next week (dare I say below 150????).

Starting weight: 214 lbs
Last week's weight: 152.2 lbs
This week's weight: 150.6

Woo-hoo! Getting close to breaking that 150 lb plateau!

This week is going to be a bit of a challenge, as I've got some meals out. It's so hard to eat at a deficit when eating out. Plus I'm busy, which makes the exercise a bit of a challenge as well.

My doctor's appointment got bumped to April 4th, so we'll see what my "official" weigh in is then. I really really want to be below 150 lbs by then.

I will say that I'm really starting to see the loss. I had just bought some pants and they're already getting loose on me. I might have to stop buying yarn and actually spend some money on clothes.

Wednesday Weigh In

Well, it looks like my body is getting used to the reduced calories and has adjusted. Not much of a loss this week.

Starting weight: 214 lbs
Last week: 152.4 lbs
This Week: 152.2 lbs

I will say that I did have a fat % loss, so that's good. I think I'll be bumping up my workouts a bit this week to see if I can encourage a bit more of a loss. It just doesn't seem to matter what I do, it still all averages about 1 lb a week...

I made my much neglected doctor/mamogram appointment on Monday. I see my regular doctor on Friday and I'll get my boobs smashed on April 7. One of the things I'm going to check with my doctor is my actual starting weight. The 214 lb is the highest I ever remember weighing at home, and not on a real reliable scale.

Well, here's hoping I can finally get below 150 lbs before the end of the month!

Weigh In Wednesday

An other week gone by. So what's the damage this week?

152.4 lbs

Yeah!!! I'm now at college weight.

The problem this week is that my computer went back for some minor repairs (a missing key and an issue with the battery recharging). So I don't have my FitDay. I could use the online one for the week, but just decided to not track this week as a break. I'm doing the same thing I've been doing, but it's nice not to have to log every single thing I'm eating.

Last Week's Weight: 154.4 lbs
This Week's Weight: 152.4 lbs

I think that's one of the largest drops in one week I've had. Part of that drop would be a water weight drop, tho.

So the world's slowest weight loss program continues on... slow and steady!

That's almost my lowest weight (on 4/10/05, I weighed in at an even 154 lbs).

I do think that I need to work a bit harder on the weight training. I need to firm up a bit and I think I'm concentrating too much on cardio and not enough on the weights.

As a matter of fact, I think I'll also bump Maya's difficulty up a bit so I can work harder. It's easy to find a comfort zone and I think I'm going to have push myself with the weights a bit more.
